The name of our firm is ‘Chaigaram Inc.’. The term Chaigaram is a unique usage. It refers to Body Friendly People, manufacturer of a healthy drink that is tea or Chai. But the term Chaigaram also symbolizes a ‘warm welcome’.
Thus Chaigaram is both a product as well as a form of greeting. The greeting and gesture of Chaigaram is part of the daily life of the people living around the Buddhist circuit and adjoining areas. As we started from there and have been associated with the trade of tourist support services involving greeting and welcoming tourists from different countries, we chose this nomenclature for our company. Nonetheless, we have starched ourselves from hospitality services to production of items that symbolize and package the ancient and traditional wisdom that has been pro-soul, pro-nature and pro-ethics.
In a sense, we have stretched but not diverted from our original line; after all we remain connected to the rich and great Indian heritage.
